The Holy Quran 8:63 — Surah Al-Anfal

Arabic text

وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًا مَّآ أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌ

Translation

...and created the bond of love (harmony) between their hearts. If you had spent whatever (wealth and resources) is in the earth, you will not have been able to create that bond of love between their hearts, but Allaah created that bond between them. Verily He is Mighty (can do whatever He wants), the Wise (in creating the bond of love between people).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وإن أراد الذين عاهدوك المكر بك فإن الله سيكفيك خداعهم؛ إنه هو الذي أنزل عليك نصره وقوَّاك بالمؤمنين من المهاجرين والأنصار، وجَمَع بين قلوبهم بعد التفرق، لو أنفقت مال الدنيا على جمع قلوبهم ما استطعت إلى ذلك سبيلا ولكن الله جمع بينها على الإيمان فأصبحوا إخوانًا متحابين، إنه عزيز في مُلْكه، حكيم في أمره وتدبيره.
