The Holy Quran 7:97 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

أَفَأَمِنَ أَهْلُ ٱلْقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأْتِيَهُم بَأْسُنَا بَيَـٰتًا وَهُمْ نَآئِمُونَ

Translation

Are the (Kuffaar) inhabitants of the towns secure against (have they become fearless of) Our punishment afflicting them at night when they are asleep?

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أيظن أهل القرى أنهم في منجاة ومأمن من عذاب الله، أن يأتيهم ليلا وهم نائمون؟
