The Holy Quran 7:92 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَغْنَوْا۟ فِيهَا ۚ ٱلَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا۟ شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ

Translation

(After their destruction) It seemed as if those who denied Shu'ayb عليه الصلاة والسلام never existed in their homes. Those who denied Shu'ayb عليه الصلاة والسلام were the losers (and not those who followed him, as their leaders claimed).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

الذين كذَّبوا شعيبًا كأنهم لم يقيموا في ديارهم، ولم يتمتعوا فيها، حيث استؤصلوا، فلم يبق لهم أثر، وأصابهم الخسران والهلاك في الدنيا والآخرة.
