The Holy Quran 7:184 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

أَوَلَمْ يَتَفَكَّرُوا۟ ۗ مَا بِصَاحِبِهِم مِّن جِنَّةٍ ۚ إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ

Translation

Do they (the Mushrikeen of Makkah) not ponder (about the life of Muhammad ﷺ and his message and realise) that their companion (Muhammad ﷺ) is not insane? (The flawless character of Rasulullaah ﷺ that the people of Makkah knew made it abundantly clear to them that he could never have been a madman. They called him an insane person only because they had nothing else to say against him.) He is but a clear (plain) warner.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أو لم يتفكر هؤلاء الذين كذبوا بآياتنا فيتدبروا بعقولهم، ويعلموا أنه ليس بمحمد جنون؟ ما هو إلا نذير لهم من عقاب الله على كفرهم به إن لم يؤمنوا، ناصح مبين.
