The Holy Quran 7:13 — Surah Al-A'raf

Arabic text

قَالَ فَٱهْبِطْ مِنْهَا فَمَا يَكُونُ لَكَ أَن تَتَكَبَّرَ فِيهَا فَٱخْرُجْ إِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰغِرِينَ

Translation

He (Allaah) said (to Iblees), "Go down from here (from the heavens)! It is not for you (it is wrong for you) to be arrogant here! Go away, for you are surely from the disgraced (mean) ones!"

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال الله لإبليس: فاهبط من الجنة، فما يصح لك أن تتكبر فيها، فاخرج من الجنة، إنك من الذليلين الحقيرين.
