The Holy Quran 70:40 — Surah Al-Ma'arij

Arabic text

فَلَآ أُقْسِمُ بِرَبِّ ٱلْمَشَـٰرِقِ وَٱلْمَغَـٰرِبِ إِنَّا لَقَـٰدِرُونَ

Translation

I swear by the Rabb of the Easts (everything in the East) and the Wests (everything in the West)! Indeed We have the power...

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أقسم تعالى بنفسه، وهو رب المشارق والمغارب للشمس والقمر وسائر الكواكب؛ لما فيها من الآيات الباهرة الدالة على البعث، إنا لقادرون قدرة تامة.
