The Holy Quran 6:92 — Surah Al-An'am

Arabic text

وَهَـٰذَا كِتَـٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَـٰهُ مُبَارَكٌ مُّصَدِّقُ ٱلَّذِى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَلِتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا ۚ وَٱلَّذِينَ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ يُؤْمِنُونَ بِهِۦ ۖ وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ صَلَاتِهِمْ يُحَافِظُونَ

Translation

This (Qur'aan) is the Book that We have revealed (to you, O Muhammad ﷺ), which is most blessed, which confirms that (the scriptures) which was before it so that you may warn the people of "The Mother of all Villages" (Makkah) and those around it (the rest of the world). Those who are convinced of the Aakhirah believe in it (the Qur'aan) and are particular about (performing) their salaah (regularly, for they anxiously await the life after death).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وهذا القرآن كتاب أنزلناه إليك -أيها الرسول- عظيم النفع، يشهد على صدق ما تقدمه من الكتب المنزلة وأنها من عند الله، أنزلناه لنخوِّف به من عذاب الله وبأسه أهل «مكة» ومن حولها من أهل أقطار الأرض كلها. والذين يصدقون بالحياة الآخرة، يصدقون بأن القرآن كلام الله، ويحافظون على إقام الصلاة في أوقاتها.
