The Holy Quran 6:104 — Surah Al-An'am

Arabic text

قَدْ جَآءَكُم بَصَآئِرُ مِن رَّبِّكُمْ ۖ فَمَنْ أَبْصَرَ فَلِنَفْسِهِۦ ۖ وَمَنْ عَمِىَ فَعَلَيْهَا ۚ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ عَلَيْكُم بِحَفِيظٍ

Translation

The means (mediums) of insight (with which man can realise Allaah's power) have undoubtedly arrived from your Rabb. Whoever will (use them to) see (the truth, to recognise Allaah and to bring Imaan), it shall be for himself (for his own benefit) and whoever (has a heart that) is blind, it shall only be to his detriment (loss). I (Rasulullaah ﷺ) am not a watcher (guard) over you.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قل -أيها الرسول- لهؤلاء المشركين: قد جاءتكم براهين ظاهرة تبصرون بها الهدى من الضلال، مما اشتمل عليها القرآن، وجاء بها الرسول عليه الصلاة والسلام، فمَن تبيَّن هذه البراهين وآمن بمدلولها فنَفْعُ ذلك لنفسه، ومَن لم يبصر الهدى بعد ظهور الحجة عليه فعلى نفسه جنى، وما أنا عليكم بحافظ أحصي أعمالكم، وإنما أنا مبلغ، والله يهدي مَن يشاء ويضل مَن يشاء وَفْق علمه وحكمته.
