The Holy Quran 64:11 — Surah At-Taghabun

Arabic text

مَآ أَصَابَ مِن مُّصِيبَةٍ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَمَن يُؤْمِنۢ بِٱللَّهِ يَهْدِ قَلْبَهُۥ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمٌ

Translation

Every calamity befalls you only by Allaah's command. (He allows these calamities to befall you for good reason, so bear them with patience.) Allaah guides the heart of the one who believes in Him (thus enabling him to bear calamities with patience) and Allaah has knowledge of everything. (He knows how much every person can bear and who are the ones who exercise patience.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ما أصاب أحدًا شيءٌ من مكروه يَحُلُّ به إلا بإذن الله وقضائه وقدره. ومَن يؤمن بالله يهد قلبه للتسليم بأمره والرضا بقضائه، ويهده لأحسن الأقوال والأفعال والأحوال؛ لأن أصل الهداية للقلب، والجوارح تبع. والله بكل شيء عليم، لا يخفى عليه شيء من ذلك.
