The Holy Quran 5:65 — Surah Al-Ma'idah

Arabic text

وَلَوْ أَنَّ أَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَٱتَّقَوْا۟ لَكَفَّرْنَا عَنْهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْ وَلَأَدْخَلْنَـٰهُمْ جَنَّـٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Translation

If only the Ahlul Kitaab would believe (in Muhammad ﷺ and accept Islaam) and adopt Taqwa, We shall remove their sins from them (forgive their sins) and enter them into Jannaat of bliss.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولو أن اليهود والنصارى صدَّقوا الله ورسوله، وامتثلوا أوامر الله واجتنبوا نواهيه، لكفَّرنا عنهم ذنوبهم، ولأدخلناهم جنات النعيم في الدار الآخرة.
