The Holy Quran 59:23 — Surah Al-Hashr

Arabic text

هُوَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِى لَآ إِلَـٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ٱلْمَلِكُ ٱلْقُدُّوسُ ٱلسَّلَـٰمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنُ ٱلْمُهَيْمِنُ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْجَبَّارُ ٱلْمُتَكَبِّرُ ۚ سُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ

Translation

He is Allaah besides Whom there is no Ilaah. He is the Sovereign, the Most Pure, the Giver of peace (safety), the Giver of security (shelter), the Vigilant, the Mighty, the Overpowering, the Glorious. He is Pure from whatever (partners) they (the Mushrikeen) ascribe to Him. (None can compare with His being, attributes or actions.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

هو الله المعبود بحق، الذي لا إله إلا هو، الملك لجميع الأشياء، المتصرف فيها بلا ممانعة ولا مدافعة، المنزَّه عن كل نقص، الذي سلِم من كل عيب، المصدِّق رسله وأنبياءه بما أرسلهم به من الآيات البينات، الرقيب على كل خلقه في أعمالهم، العزيز الذي لا يغالَب، الجبار الذي قهر جميع العباد، وأذعن له سائر الخلق، المتكبِّر الذي له الكبرياء والعظمة.
