The Holy Quran 57:12 — Surah Al-Hadid

Arabic text

يَوْمَ تَرَى ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ يَسْعَىٰ نُورُهُم بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَبِأَيْمَـٰنِهِم بُشْرَىٰكُمُ ٱلْيَوْمَ جَنَّـٰتٌ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Translation

On the day (of Qiyaamah), you will see the light of the Mu'mineen and Mu'minaat run ahead of them and on their right (and left)-hand sides (guiding them across the dark Bridge of Siraat). (They will be told,) "Today you are given the good news of Jannaat beneath which rivers flow, where you shall live forever." That is the supreme success.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يوم ترى المؤمنين والمؤمنات يسعى نورهم على الصراط بين أيديهم وعن أيمانهم، بقدر أعمالهم، ويقال لهم: بشراكم اليوم دخول جنات واسعة تجري من تحت قصورها وأشجارها الأنهار، لا تخرجون منها أبدًا، ذلك الجزاء هو الفوز العظيم لكم في الآخرة.
