The Holy Quran 55:39 — Surah Ar-Rahman

Arabic text

فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّ

Translation

On that day no man and no Jinn shall be asked (questioned) about his sins. (The asking will not be the usual enquiry to gain knowledge because Allaah has knowledge of everything. However, the asking will be merely to get them to admit their sins.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ففي ذلك اليوم لا تسأل الملائكة المجرمين من الإنس والجن عن ذنوبهم. فبأي نِعَم ربكما -أيها الثقلان- تكذِّبان؟
