The Holy Quran 55:33 — Surah Ar-Rahman

Arabic text

يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍ

Translation

O assembly (gathering) of Jinn and man! If you are able to transcend (go beyond) the limits of the heavens and the earth (in an effort to escape My punishment), then (try to) do so. (However,) You will be unable to transcend (pass) without the power (which you can get only from Allaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يا معشر الجن والإنس، إن قَدَرْتم على النفاذ من أمر الله وحكمه هاربين من أطراف السموات والأرض فافعلوا، ولستم قادرين على ذلك إلا بقوة وحجة، وأمر من الله تعالى، وأنَّى لكم ذلك، وأنتم لا تملكون لأنفسكم نفعًا ولا ضرًا؟ . فبأي نِعَم ربكما -أيها الثقلان- تكذِّبان؟
