The Holy Quran 54:4 — Surah Al-Qamar

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ جَآءَهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ مَا فِيهِ مُزْدَجَرٌ

Translation

Indeed such news (concerning the destruction of previous nations) has come to them in which there is sufficient warning to caution (them and to cause them to mend their evil ways).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد جاء كفار قريش من أنباء الأمم المكذبة برسلها، وما حلَّ بها من العذاب، ما فيه كفاية لردعهم عن كفرهم وضلالهم.
