The Holy Quran 50:15 — Surah Qaf

Arabic text

أَفَعَيِينَا بِٱلْخَلْقِ ٱلْأَوَّلِ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى لَبْسٍ مِّنْ خَلْقٍ جَدِيدٍ

Translation

Did We get tired with the first creation (after creating everything for the first time)? No. Yet they are in doubt (deception) about the new creation (resurrection, which should be easier because it is a repeat performance).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أفَعَجَزْنا عن ابتداع الخلق الأول الذي خلقناه ولم يكن شيئًا، فنعجز عن إعادتهم خلقًا جديدًا بعد فنائهم؟ لا يعجزنا ذلك، بل نحن عليه قادرون، ولكنهم في حَيْرة وشك من أمر البعث والنشور.
