The Holy Quran 4:136 — Surah An-Nisa

Arabic text

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ ءَامِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِى نَزَّلَ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ وَٱلْكِتَـٰبِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ مِن قَبْلُ ۚ وَمَن يَكْفُرْ بِٱللَّهِ وَمَلَـٰٓئِكَتِهِۦ وَكُتُبِهِۦ وَرُسُلِهِۦ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْـَٔاخِرِ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلًۢا بَعِيدًا

Translation

O you who have Imaan! Believe (keep your belief steadfast) in Allaah, His Rasool, the Book (the Qur'aan) that He revealed to His Rasool (Muhammad ﷺ) and the Book (all the Books) that was revealed before (to other Rusul). Whoever disbelieves in Allaah, His Angels, His Books, His Rusul and the Last Day, then he has indeed wandered far astray (regardless of the claims he makes). (Belief in all of the above constitute the pillars of Imaan.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يا أيها الذين صدَّقوا الله ورسوله وعملوا بشرعه داوموا على ما أنتم عليه من التصديق الجازم بالله تعالى وبرسوله محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم، ومن طاعتهما، وبالقرآن الذي نزله عليه، وبجميع الكتب التي أنزلها الله على الرسل.
