The Holy Quran 44:28 — Surah Ad-Dukhan

Arabic text

كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَا قَوْمًا ءَاخَرِينَ

Translation

So it (their story) was (happened). (As always,) We then made others successors to this (for others to enjoy).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

مثل ذلك العقاب يعاقب الله مَن كذَّب وبدَّل نعمة الله كفرًا، وأورثنا تلك النعم من بعد فرعون وقومه قومًا آخرين خلفوهم من بني إسرائيل.
