The Holy Quran 43:50 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

فَلَمَّا كَشَفْنَا عَنْهُمُ ٱلْعَذَابَ إِذَا هُمْ يَنكُثُونَ

(However,) When We removed the punishment (calamity) from them, they immediately broke their promise (and continued committing Shirk).

فلما دعا موسى برفع العذاب عنهم، ورفعناه عنهم إذا هم يغدرون، ويصرُّون على ضلالهم.
