The Holy Quran 43:37 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

وَإِنَّهُمْ لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْ عَنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ وَيَحْسَبُونَ أَنَّهُم مُّهْتَدُونَ

Translation

Indeed, they (these Shayaateen) will forbid (prevent) people from the path (Islaam), while they (these people foolishly) think that they are rightly guided. (In this manner, they never have the opportunity to mend their ways because they see no reason to do so.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وإن الشياطين ليصدون عن سبيل الحق هؤلاء الذين يعرضون عن ذكر الله، فيزيِّنون لهم الضلالة، ويكرِّهون لهم الإيمان بالله والعمل بطاعته، ويظن هؤلاء المعرضون بتحسين الشياطين لهم ما هم عليه من الضلال أنهم على الحق والهدى.
