The Holy Quran 43:30 — Surah Az-Zukhruf

Arabic text

وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمُ ٱلْحَقُّ قَالُوا۟ هَـٰذَا سِحْرٌ وَإِنَّا بِهِۦ كَـٰفِرُونَ

Translation

(However,) When the truth (the Qur'aan) came to them they said, "This is magic (sorcery) and we certainly reject it." (and not accept it)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولما جاءهم القرآن من عند الله قالوا: هذا الذي جاءنا به هذا الرسول سحرٌ يسحرنا به، وليس بوحي مِن عند الله، وإنا به مكذِّبون.
