The Holy Quran 40:33 — Surah Ghafir

Arabic text

يَوْمَ تُوَلُّونَ مُدْبِرِينَ مَا لَكُم مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ مِنْ عَاصِمٍ ۗ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ

Translation

"...(the Day of Qiyaamah will be) the day when you will turn back on your heels (in an effort to run away from Jahannam) and there shall be none to protect you from (the punishment of) Allaah. There can be no guide for the one whom Allaah sends astray."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

يوم تولون ذاهبين هاربين، ما لكم من الله من مانع يمنعكم وناصر ينصركم. ومَن يخذله الله ولم يوفقه إلى رشده، فما له من هاد يهديه إلى الحق والصواب.
