The Holy Quran 3:139 — Surah Ali 'Imran

Arabic text

وَلَا تَهِنُوا۟ وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا۟ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَوْنَ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ

Translation

Do not be weak (or lose courage against your enemies) and do not grieve (over your losses) for you shall be elevated (triumphant and in a superior position over your enemies) if you are (true) Mu'mineen (steadfast in Imaan, obeying Rasulullaah ﷺ and having full conviction).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولا تضْعُفوا -أيها المؤمنون- عن قتال عدوكم، ولا تحزنوا لما أصابكم في «أُحد» ، وأنتم الغالبون والعاقبة لكم، إن كنتم مصدقين بالله ورسوله متَّبعين شرعه.
