The Holy Quran 38:16 — Surah Sad

Arabic text

وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ

Translation

They (spitefully and foolishly) say, "O our Rabb! Hurry (hasten) with our share (of punishment) before the Day of Reckoning."

وقالوا: ربنا عجِّل لنا نصيبنا من العذاب في الدينا قبل يوم القيامة، وكان هذا استهزاءً منهم.
