The Holy Quran 36:37 — Surah Ya-Sin

Arabic text

وَءَايَةٌ لَّهُمُ ٱلَّيْلُ نَسْلَخُ مِنْهُ ٱلنَّهَارَ فَإِذَا هُم مُّظْلِمُونَ

Translation

The night is (also) an Aayah for them (which demonstrates Allaah's great powers). We draw the day out of it (at sunset) and they (people) are suddenly left in darkness.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وعلامة لهم دالة على توحيد الله وكمال قدرته: هذا الليل ننزع منه النهار، فإذا الناس مظلمون.
