The Holy Quran 36:27 — Surah Ya-Sin

Arabic text

بِمَا غَفَرَ لِى رَبِّى وَجَعَلَنِى مِنَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ

Translation

"...the reason why my Rabb had forgiven me and made me from among the honoured ones!" (If they knew this, they would surely have followed my example.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال وهو في النعيم والكرامة: يا ليت قومي يعلمون بغفران ربي لي وإكرامه إياي; بسبب إيماني بالله وصبري على طاعته، واتباع رسله حتى قُتِلت، فيؤمنوا بالله فيدخلوا الجنة مثلي.
