The Holy Quran 35:22 — Surah Fatir

Arabic text

وَمَا يَسْتَوِى ٱلْأَحْيَآءُ وَلَا ٱلْأَمْوَٰتُ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُسْمِعُ مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ وَمَآ أَنتَ بِمُسْمِعٍ مَّن فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Translation

(In the same manner), The living (the Mu'mineen) and the dead (the Kuffaar) cannot be the same. Whoever Allaah wills He makes him hear (the truth), and you (O Rasulullaah ﷺ) cannot make those in the graves hear (without Allaah's will).
