The Holy Quran 34:52 — Surah Saba

Arabic text

وَقَالُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا بِهِۦ وَأَنَّىٰ لَهُمُ ٱلتَّنَاوُشُ مِن مَّكَانٍۭ بَعِيدٍ

Translation

They will (then) say, "We (now) believe it (in everything the Ambiyaa عليهم الصلاة والسلام told us)." How can they reach it (Imaan) from a distant place (from the Aakhirah)...

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وقال الكفار -عندما رأوا العذاب في الآخرة-: آمنا بالله وكتبه ورسله، وكيف لهم تناول الإيمان في الآخرة ووصولهم له من مكان بعيد؟ قد حيل بينهم وبينه، فمكانه الدنيا، وقد كفروا فيها.
