The Holy Quran 34:30 — Surah Saba

Arabic text

قُل لَّكُم مِّيعَادُ يَوْمٍ لَّا تَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ عَنْهُ سَاعَةً وَلَا تَسْتَقْدِمُونَ

Translation

Say, "You have an appointment (the promise of punishment) of a day which you will be unable to postpone for a moment nor bring forward."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قل لهم -أيها الرسول-: لكم ميعاد هو آتيكم لا محالة، وهو ميعاد يوم القيامة، لا تستأخرون عنه ساعة للتوبة، ولا تستقدمون ساعةً قبله للعذاب. فاحذروا ذلك اليوم، وأَعِدُّوا له عدته.
