The Holy Quran 34:11 — Surah Saba

Arabic text

أَنِ ٱعْمَلْ سَـٰبِغَـٰتٍ وَقَدِّرْ فِى ٱلسَّرْدِ ۖ وَٱعْمَلُوا۟ صَـٰلِحًا ۖ إِنِّى بِمَا تَعْمَلُونَ بَصِيرٌ

Translation

(Allaah commanded Dawood عليه الصلاة والسلام saying,) "Make coats of armour (with the iron), perfect the links (so that they join and move perfectly with the movements of the soldier wearing it) and you all (your family) should do good deeds. I am certainly watching whatever you do (and will reward you for all the good you do)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أن اعمل دروعًا تامات واسعات وقدِّر المسامير في حِلَق الدروع، فلا تعمل الحلقة صغيرة فتَضْعُف، فلا تقوى الدروع على الدفاع، ولا تجعلها كبيرة فتثقُل على لابسها، واعمل يا داود أنت وأهلك بطاعة الله، إني بما تعملون بصير لا يخفى عليَّ شيء منها.
