The Holy Quran 34:10 — Surah Saba

Arabic text

۞ وَلَقَدْ ءَاتَيْنَا دَاوُۥدَ مِنَّا فَضْلًا ۖ يَـٰجِبَالُ أَوِّبِى مَعَهُۥ وَٱلطَّيْرَ ۖ وَأَلَنَّا لَهُ ٱلْحَدِيدَ

Translation

Verily, We granted Dawood عليه الصلاة والسلام a great bounty from Us (referring to his Prophethood or the Zaboor). (Addressing the mountains, We said,) "O mountains! Repeat (the Tasbeeh) with Dawood" and the birds (were also given this command). We also made iron soft (like wax) for him (so that he could mould it as he wished without any effort).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد آتينا داود نبوة، وكتابًا وعلمًا، وقلنا للجبال والطير: سبِّحي معه، وألنَّا له الحديد، فكان كالعجين يتصرف فيه كيف يشاء.
