The Holy Quran 33:54 — Surah Al-Ahzab

Arabic text

إِن تُبْدُوا۟ شَيْـًٔا أَوْ تُخْفُوهُ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ كَانَ بِكُلِّ شَىْءٍ عَلِيمًا

Translation

If you make something (such as an intention to marry of Rasulullaah's wives after him) public or keep it secret, then (remember that) Allaah certainly has knowledge of everything (and will take you to task for it).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إن تُظْهِروا شيئًا على ألسنتكم -أيها الناس- مما يؤذي رسول الله مما نهاكم الله عنه، أو تخفوه في نفوسكم، فإن الله تعالى يعلم ما في قلوبكم وما أظهرتموه، وسيجازيكم على ذلك.
