The Holy Quran 31:10 — Surah Luqman

Arabic text

خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ بِغَيْرِ عَمَدٍ تَرَوْنَهَا ۖ وَأَلْقَىٰ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ رَوَٰسِىَ أَن تَمِيدَ بِكُمْ وَبَثَّ فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ دَآبَّةٍ ۚ وَأَنزَلْنَا مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مَآءً فَأَنۢبَتْنَا فِيهَا مِن كُلِّ زَوْجٍ كَرِيمٍ

Translation

Allaah (is so Mighty that He) created the skies without any pillar that you see, has placed mountains on earth (to stabilise it) so that it does not shake with you and has spread every type of animal on earth. We have (also) sent rain from the sky, thereby growing every type of wonderful plant.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

خلق الله السموات، ورفعها بغير عمد كما تشاهدونها، وألقى في الأرض جبالا ثابتة؛ لئلا تضطرب وتتحرك فتفسد حياتكم، ونشر في الأرض مختلف أنواع الدواب، وأنزلنا من السحاب مطرًا، فأنبتنا به من الأرض من كل زوج بهيج نافع حسن المنظر.
