The Holy Quran 30:30 — Surah Ar-Rum

Arabic text

فَأَقِمْ وَجْهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفًا ۚ فِطْرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِى فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا ۚ لَا تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلْقَيِّمُ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation

So focus your attention only on this Deen as a Haneef (one who turns away from every other religion). (Follow) Allaah's natural model (the built-in capacity every human has to accept Islaam) on which He created mankind. There can be no change to Allaah's creation (none can alter this built-in capacity). This is the upright Deen, but most people do not know (and therefore remain Kuffaar because they refuse to utilise this capacity to accept the truth).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فأقم -أيها الرسول أنت ومن اتبعك- وجهك، واستمر على الدين الذي شرعه الله لك، وهو الإسلام الذي فطر الله الناس عليه، فبقاؤكم عليه، وتمسككم به، تمسك بفطرة الله من الإيمان بالله وحده، لا تبديل لخلق الله ودينه، فهو الطريق المستقيم الموصل إلى رضا الله رب العالمين وجنته، ولكن أكثر الناس لا يعلمون أن الذي أمرتك به -أيها الرسول- هو الدين الحق دون سواه.
