The Holy Quran 2:38 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

قُلْنَا ٱهْبِطُوا۟ مِنْهَا جَمِيعًا ۖ فَإِمَّا يَأْتِيَنَّكُم مِّنِّى هُدًى فَمَن تَبِعَ هُدَاىَ فَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Translation

We said, "Go down from here (from Jannah), all of you. If there comes to you any guidance (a prophet or a book) from Me, then those who follow My guidance (by having Imaan in Me and obeying My commands) shall have no fear (of calamities) on them, neither shall they grieve (in the Aakhirah)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قال الله لهم: اهبطوا من الجنة جميعًا، وسيأتيكم أنتم وذرياتكم المتعاقبة ما فيه هدايتكم إلى الحق. فمن عمل بها فلا خوف عليهم فيما يستقبلونه من أمر الآخرة ولا هم يحزنون على ما فاتهم من أمور الدنيا.
