The Holy Quran 2:112 — Surah Al-Baqarah

Arabic text

بَلَىٰ مَنْ أَسْلَمَ وَجْهَهُۥ لِلَّهِ وَهُوَ مُحْسِنٌ فَلَهُۥٓ أَجْرُهُۥ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ وَلَا خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ

Translation

Not at all (many others will also enter Jannah) ! In fact, the one who surrenders himself to Allaah and does righteous acts (only for Allaah's sake and in the manner showed by Muhammad) shall find his reward with his Rabb. Neither will fear overtake such people, nor shall they grieve.

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ليس الأمر كما زعموا أنَّ الجنة تختص بطائفة دون غيرها، وإنما يدخل الجنَّة مَن أخلص لله وحده لا شريك له، وهو متبع للرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم في كل أقواله وأعماله. فمن فعل ذلك فله ثواب عمله عند ربه في الآخرة، وهو دخول الجنة، وهم لا يخافون فيما يستقبلونه من أمر الآخرة، ولا هم يحزنون على ما فاتهم من حظوظ الدنيا.
