The Holy Quran 29:37 — Surah Al-'Ankabut

Arabic text

فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا۟ فِى دَارِهِمْ جَـٰثِمِينَ

Translation

They rejected him (called him a liar), so an earthquake seized them and (afterwards) they lay kneeling (prostrate) down in their homes (dead).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فكذَّب أهل «مدين» شعيبًا فيما جاءهم به عن الله من الرسالة، فأخذتهم الزلزلة الشديدة، فأصبحوا في دارهم صَرْعى هالكين.
