The Holy Quran 29:34 — Surah Al-'Ankabut

Arabic text

إِنَّا مُنزِلُونَ عَلَىٰٓ أَهْلِ هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْقَرْيَةِ رِجْزًا مِّنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْسُقُونَ

Translation

"We will send down on the people of this town a punishment (disaster) from the sky (a shower of stones) on account of their disobedience."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

إنا منزلون على أهل هذه القرية عذابًا من السماء; بسبب معصيتهم لله وارتكابهم الفاحشة.
