The Holy Quran 29:2 — Surah Al-'Ankabut

Arabic text

أَحَسِبَ ٱلنَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوٓا۟ أَن يَقُولُوٓا۟ ءَامَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ

Translation

Do people (the Mu'mineen) think that they will be left to say, "We have Imaan!" without being tested? (In fact, the stronger the Imaan, the harder the test.)

أظَنَّ الناس إذ قالوا: آمنا، أن الله يتركهم بلا ابتلاء ولا اختبار؟
