The Holy Quran 29:10 — Surah Al-'Ankabut
Translation
Among people are those (Munaafiqeen) who say, "We believe in Allaah!" Then, when they suffer any adversity (difficulty) for (the cause of) Allaah, they (are unable to bear it and) treat the difficulty (which) people give like (it is as severe as) Allaah's punishment. If help (victory) comes (to you Muslims) from your Rabb, they (the Munaafiqeen) will certainly say, "We were always with you (and therefore also deserve a share of the booty)." Does Allaah not know best what is in the hearts of all in the universe? (Allaah knows well what is in the hearts of the Munaafiqeen and will punish them for their hypocrisy.)
Tafsir (excerpt) —
