The Holy Quran 28:4 — Surah Al-Qasas

Translation

Verily Fir'oun glorified himself on earth and divided the people (of Egypt) into groups (to serve him). He weakened (suppressed) a party of them (the Bani Israa'eel), slaughtered their sons (so that none of them may rise against him as he had dreamt), while keeping their daughters alive (to serve him). He was certainly from the transgressors.

Tafsir (excerpt) —
