The Holy Quran 27:81 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

وَمَآ أَنتَ بِهَـٰدِى ٱلْعُمْىِ عَن ضَلَـٰلَتِهِمْ ۖ إِن تُسْمِعُ إِلَّا مَن يُؤْمِنُ بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا فَهُم مُّسْلِمُونَ

Translation

(Similarly,) You cannot guide the blind from their deviation (when they stray). You can guide only those who believe in Our Aayaat and who are Muslims (people who have submitted themselves to Allaah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وما أنت -أيها الرسول- بهادٍ عن الضلالة مَن أعماه الله عن الهدى والرشاد، ولا يمكنك أن تُسمع إلا مَن يصدِّق بآياتنا، فهم مسلمون مطيعون، مستجيبون لما دعوتهم إليه.
