The Holy Quran 27:61 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

أَمَّن جَعَلَ ٱلْأَرْضَ قَرَارًا وَجَعَلَ خِلَـٰلَهَآ أَنْهَـٰرًا وَجَعَلَ لَهَا رَوَٰسِىَ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ حَاجِزًا ۗ أَءِلَـٰهٌ مَّعَ ٱللَّهِ ۚ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ

Translation

Or (is) He Who made the earth stable (solid so that it does not shake or tilt), Who created rivers in its midst, Who placed mountains on it, and Who has placed a barrier between the two seas (is He not better than the gods of Mushrikeen)? Is there (Can there be) another Ilaah with Allaah? No (there can never be another being with superior powers who deserves to be worshipped), but most of them (the Mushrikeen) are ignorant (people who do not want to understand Towheed).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

أعبادة ما تشركون بربكم خير أم الذي جعل لكم الأرض مستقرًا وجعل وسطها أنهارًا، وجعل لها الجبال ثوابت، وجعل بين البحرين العذب والملح حاجزًا حتى لا يُفسد أحدهما الآخر؟ أمعبود مع الله فَعَلَ ذلك حتى تشركوه معه في عبادتكم؟ بل أكثر هؤلاء المشركين لا يعلمون قَدْر عظمة الله، فهم يشركون به تقليدًا وظلمًا.
