The Holy Quran 27:33 — Surah An-Naml

Arabic text

قَالُوا۟ نَحْنُ أُو۟لُوا۟ قُوَّةٍ وَأُو۟لُوا۟ بَأْسٍ شَدِيدٍ وَٱلْأَمْرُ إِلَيْكِ فَٱنظُرِى مَاذَا تَأْمُرِينَ

Translation

They replied, "We are people of great (tremendous) might and fierce (vicious) fighters (and are therefore prepared to fight Sulaymaan), but (ultimately) the decision rests with you. Therefore you decide what commands you wish to issue. (We will support you in any decision you take)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قالوا مجيبين لها: نحن أصحاب قوة في العدد والعُدَّة وأصحاب النجدة والشجاعة في شدة الحرب، والأمر موكول إليكِ، وأنتِ صاحبة الرأي، فتأملي ماذا تأمريننا به؟ فنحن سامعون لأمرك مطيعون لك.
