The Holy Quran 26:61 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

فَلَمَّا تَرَٰٓءَا ٱلْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَـٰبُ مُوسَىٰٓ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ

Translation

When the two parties (the Bani Israa'eel and Firoun's army) set eyes on each other, Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام's people said, "We will surely be caught (because they are behind us and the sea is in front of us(."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

فلما رأى كل واحد من الفريقين الآخر قال أصحاب موسى: إنَّ جَمْعَ فرعون مُدْرِكنا ومهلكنا.
