The Holy Quran 26:53 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِى ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ حَـٰشِرِينَ

(Consequently, when) Fir'oun (learnt that the Bani Israa'eel had left, he) sent recruiters to the towns (to gather an army).

فأرسل فرعون جنده -حين بلغه مسير بني إسرائيل- يجمعون جيشه من مدائن مملكته.
