The Holy Quran 26:52 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِىٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ

Translation

(Finally, after Moosa عليه الصلاة والسلام had preached to the people for many years) We sent revelation to Moosa saying, "Lead My bondsmen (the Bani Israa'eel) away (from Egypt) by night. (However, be careful because) You will certainly be followed (closely by Fir'oun and his army)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وأوحى الله إلى موسى عليه السلام: أَن�� سِرْ ليلا بمن آمن من بني إسرائيل؛ لأن فرعون وجنوده متبعوكم حتى لا يدركوكم قبل وصولكم إلى البحر.
