The Holy Quran 26:136 — Surah Ash-Shu'ara

Arabic text

قَالُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْنَآ أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ ٱلْوَٰعِظِينَ

Translation

They replied, “It is immaterial to us whether you advise us or whether you are not from the advisers (regardless of what you do, we will not accept your advice)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

قالوا له: يستوي عندنا تذكيرك وتخويفك لنا وتركه، فلن ��ؤمن لك.
