The Holy Quran 25:30 — Surah Al-Furqan

Arabic text

وَقَالَ ٱلرَّسُولُ يَـٰرَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِى ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ مَهْجُورًا

Translation

(On the Day of Qiyaamah) The Rasool will say (attesting to the kufr of his people), "O my Rabb! My people have ignored this Qur'aan (regarded it to be obsolete)."

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

وقال الرسول شاكيًا ما صنع قومه: يا ربِّ إن قومي تركوا هذا القرآن وهجروه، متمادين في إعراضهم عنه وتَرْكِ تدبُّره والعمل به وتبليغه. وفي الآية تخويف عظيم لمن هجر القرآن فلم يعمل به.
