The Holy Quran 24:13 — Surah An-Nur

Arabic text

لَّوْلَا جَآءُو عَلَيْهِ بِأَرْبَعَةِ شُهَدَآءَ ۚ فَإِذْ لَمْ يَأْتُوا۟ بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِ فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ هُمُ ٱلْكَـٰذِبُونَ

Translation

Why have they (the accusers) not presented four witnesses (to testify that they had witnessed the act of adultery)? Since they have not presented four witnesses, then these people are surely liars in Allaah's sight (because they had not proven anything according to the Shari'ah).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

هلا أتى القاذفون بأربعة شهود عدول على قولهم، فحين لم يفعلوا ذلك فأولئك هم الكاذبون عند الله.
